Nominations will be held for six (6) Negotiations Representatives. They will be taking part in the upcoming 2024 Collective Agreement negotiations between the IAMAW and Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc.
Eligibility:
Members in attendance may accept nominations. Nominees not in attendance will be required to submit their acceptance in writing to the Recording Secretary (via fax, mail or in person but not by e-mail) to be read out at the nomination meeting.
Members accepting nominations must have attended at least 50% of the Regular Local Lodge Meetings held during the 12-month period ending the date of the close of nominations that their scheduled shifts, employee assignments, vacations, verified illness, and Local/District/Grand Lodge business shall allow.
Absentee Ballots:
Any member entitled to receive an absentee ballot may complete in full the LL2734 Absentee Request Form” (available on the 2734 website under the “about” tab and available in the Shop Committee Offices) and forward it to the Recording Secretary via Canada Post or by handing in person to the Recording Secretary- Mujtaba Syed.
Absentee ballot requests must be sent in individual envelopes. Absentee ballot requests must be received by Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the latest via mail or in person to the Recording Secretary or the President.
At the polling station, a valid union card must be presented, or a ballot will not be issued.
