{"id":1283,"date":"2023-05-02T05:14:50","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T11:14:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iamaw2734.ca\/?p=1283"},"modified":"2023-05-03T05:15:48","modified_gmt":"2023-05-03T11:15:48","slug":"29000-machinists-union-members-at-united-airlines-ratify-industry-leading-labor-agreements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/iamaw2734.ca\/?p=1283","title":{"rendered":"<strong>29,000 Machinists Union Members at United Airlines Ratify Industry-Leading Labor Agreements<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Approximately 29,000 United Airlines members in the IAM, North America\u2019s largest air transport labor union, have ratified labor agreements with the industry\u2019s best wages and stronger job protections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members ratified five contracts covering Fleet Service, Passenger Service, Storekeeper, Maintenance Instructors, and Fleet Technical Instructors and Related, and Maintenance Instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximately 118 members in the Security Guard and Central Load Planners classifications have not ratified their contracts.
